I’ve been in Canberra for the last week so no blogging last week and no vinyl display entry this week but I am back for the Lost Library Thing book display. This week we continue the Doctors and Nurses theme.
Instead Lost Library Thing, where I display a book that I bought purely for the interesting cover, goes back to playing doctors and nurses. Believe me, I would have loved to have made it a Muppets trifecta with three posts in a row featuring The Muppets, but oh well. Here, let the passion and intensity of a medical based love story take you away.
After our Halloween foray of last week, Lost Library Thing returns to the theme of Doctors and Nurses. Here is a cover that goes so well with the title.
I note that the back blurb mentions that there is a sequel called Come Again, Nurse. I detect more than a whiff of the spirit of Carry On Doctor throughout all of this.
I remember that I bought this for a friend who is a nurse, but I have to this day, shied away from giving it to her. I am a bit nervous as to how she, as a working nurse, would feel about this as a present. I would present it as a kind hearted jest.

I am going to be focusing on a few medical related covers over the next few weeks. Doctors seem to feature in a few romance novels, as too nurses, so I seem to have collected a few here and there, without making a conscious decision to do so. Read the rest of this entry »
